On Saturday 17 November 2012, IE Department called for a big meeting for the opening of semester 2/2555. The total number of participants are 542 persons comprising of 21 faculty members, 31 master students and 511 undergraduated students.  On this occation, the department received an honor from Dean and Vice Deans of the engineering faculty to give the speech to the students regarding their study at RMUTT.  Later in the program, IE master graduates talked to the students with the title of “how to be a qualified industrial engineer for the future”.  Department head also covered a topic of how IE department improves towards ASEAN in the year 2015.
